Welcome to Good Camel Comedy Theater!

Why “Good Camel”? It’s a name rooted in resilience. Our founder’s mother made an extraordinary 30-day journey across the desert, traveling from Eritrea to Sudan with the help of a loyal camel. That same spirit of strength and determination drives everything we do, including our comedy.

Good Camel isn’t just about laughs—it’s about using humor to speak truth to power. Founded by an Eritrean immigrant, our theater is a space where stories that challenge, inspire, and provoke are told through stand-up, improv, sketch comedy, and storytelling. Located in the heart of Minneapolis, we bring bold perspectives to the stage, tackling hard truths with wit and courage.

Looking for sharp humor that cuts through the noise? Pull up a chair and join us for a show. Here, the comedy isn’t just entertaining—it’s empowering. You might walk in for the jokes, but you’ll leave with ideas that stick.
